For our departed brother/sister, 

that God may reward 

his/her faith and good works. 

We pray to the Lord.

For all who mourn, 

that their faith in the Risen Lord 

may console them in their grief. 

We pray to the Lord.

All: Lord, hear our prayer.

For those weighed down 

by loneliness and sorrow, 

that the Holy Spirit 

may strengthen them. 

We pray to the Lord.

All: Lord, hear our prayer.

Leader:

For caregivers, medical staff, 

and all who accompanied 

our brother/sister in life, 

that God may bless them 

with compassion and peace. 

We pray to the Lord.

All: Lord, hear our prayer.

For ourselves, 

that as we continue life’s journey, 

we may live with hope 

in the resurrection.
